Articles / Ceremony
At its simplest level a typical wedding ceremony consists of a wedding processional where the groom, the bride, and the wedding party enter. This is followed by wedding readings, which are usually either religious readings or, in the case of civil ceremonies, often inspiring quotes or poetry. Next, the marriage license is signed, and this is then followed by perhaps the most romantic part of the wedding ceremony, the exchange of wedding vows. Wedding rings are then exchanged and a blessing is given by the officiant. The bride and groom then seal their marriage with a kiss before exiting the ceremony in the recessional.
Find out how to plan your ideal wedding ceremony, with some great tips on ceremony decorations to help make it personalized to your style, so you will remember it for the rest of your life.
