The most important decision a bride makes about her appearance for her big day is her gown. The second most important is her hairstyle. Whether the bride has long hair or short, tiara or veil, there is the perfect hairstyle that will make her look absolutely glamorous.
One of the most classic looks is the updo. This looks works on any bride except for those with very short hair. For those with straight hair, it can be pulled back into a classic Frech twist. A part on the side makes for a very dramatic look and pulling stray whisps of hair to frame the face really adds to the romance. For those with wavy or curly hair, simply sweeping the hair and piling it onto the top of the head can be very beautiful. Brides should try different parts to see what works best with their face shape.
The half up, half down look is becoming very popular as well. A bride can pull up the top and the sides and secure it with a large clip to leave the rest of her hair flowing freely. Teasing the hair at the crown before pulling it back and clipping it will create luscious volume.
Another very big trend this year is to wear the hair completely down. This creates for plenty of volume and romance. For those with straight hair, it's a good idea to set in rollers the night before to create waves and curls to frame the face. Before setting the hair in the rollers, treat it with a volume mousse.
For those with short hair, hair extensions are becoming even more popular. They look and feel very natural and are very easy to take in and out.
