One of the biggest trends for weddings today is to have a theme wedding. One of the biggest themes today is the nautical theme wedding. With just a few ideas, you can give your guests (and yourself) a day that is sure to be remembered!

- Location is a must so hold your wedding at a yacht club, dockside, or by the side of a beautiful lake

- Dress the bridesmaids in dresses that are the same blue of the ocean

- Give the bridesmaids accessories in blue crystal; not only will these blend perfectly with your them but you can use these as your bridesmaids gifts

- Offer cocktails such as Blue Hawaiians for your guests to nibble on while they're waiting to be seated

- Include such things on your menu such as seafood, other types of fish, and exotic fruit

- Select appropriate music such as The Beach Boys, Jimmy Buffet, and Bob Marley

- Decorate the tabletops with red, white, and blue tablecloths and alternate red, white, and blue napkins on top

- Place nautical candle wedding favors at each place setting for your guests

- If you're having your reception outdoors, release some red, white, and blue helium-filled balloons to get the party started!
