To take this a step further, you may want to pick out floral arrangements that you can easily transport from the ceremony to the reception. By doing this you will only have to buy one set up of flowers, which will in turn cut your costs. This is one option that a lot of people overlook, but can save hundreds of dollars in the long run.

When it comes to the actual flowers, the most important aspect to most people is color. The good thing is that regardless of what you are looking for, you should not have a hard time finding it. There are hundreds of different types of flowers to choose from with all of them coming in different colors. Several factors may come into play when choosing which color flowers to have at your wedding. As a rule of thumb, it is always nice to have some flowers at the entrance to the church to set the mood for the guests that will be arriving. Inside the church itself, you may want to set up the flowers around the alter and the aisle. If you are having an outdoor wedding, you will still want to follow this same basic format.

Before you start ordering flowers, you will need to make sure that you are allowed to have them in the venue. This may sound silly, but a lot of churches have their own flower arrangers, and bringing in outside arrangements is against the rules. If you are having a religious ceremony you should always check with the priest, rabbi, or minister to determine what you are and are not allowed to bring as far as flowers are concerned.
